Its colour is ruby red. Floral aromas of violet, iris, lily of the valley and peony dominate. Its taste qualities, borrowed from red fruits, express the gamay remarkably well.

After a manual harvesting and a de-stemming, the wine is left in vat for about ten days.

This red wine is very pleasant to drink after work with a platter of fine charcuterie or as a starter with small verrines. It also goes well with grilled fish.

It ages well on the red fruit with notes of cherry stem becoming close to pinot noir!
